10/7/05 - Louisiana dates canceled, Voodoo rescheduled
Displeased to inform you that the Lafayette, LA and Baton Rouge, LA shows with the Red Stick Ramblers have been cancelled.

Pleased to inform you that the Voodoo Music Festval is still on and has been moved from New Orleans to Memphis, Tennessee!

10/6/05
Tour is now over. Tonight we relax, visit an old familiar tavern, maybe find a way to sneak into the Rolling Stones concert, and sleep, sleep, sleep. This was a fun tour with some highly unusual moments. Like when our luggage was lost, including key pieces of band gear and instruments which were needed for a performance the next day. Fortunately the luggage came in on a later flight and by the time the band hit the stage that evening we had our stuff back. Some brilliant moments like that. A few dates for this fall have trickled in over the last 2 weeks and are posted. A couple more dates soon coming. That’s all for now.

9/12/05 - There's a crack in everything.
Currently right in the thick of a long September tour. Been to some wonderful places and had some fine shows so far. Ireland was a blast and we’re all the way on the left coast in Oregon now. Everyone is in one piece albeit rather tired. Lots of flying and finding it difficult to sleep on these long flights.

9/7/05 - That’s how the light gets in
A special reminder that the best and most efficient way to get aid to the Hurricane Katrina relief fund is a cash donation. If you aren’t sure where to donate, The American Red Cross is widely held to be one of the best organized and most effective relief organizations.

In light of the devastation in New Orleans, the Voodoo Music Experience (where King Wilkie is scheduled to perform Halloween weekend) is working to move forward with alternate plans. Please check their site for more details.
